After their recent war of words, it appears as though former Chute Box teammates Anderson Silva and Wanderlei Silva have put aside any differences they may have had.

A report from Tatame quotes Anderson as saying:

Wanderlei is crazy (laughs), he’s crazy, but it’s ok, we’re ok… He knows all my critics [sic] are positive, that I know his talent… We’re together, Wanderlei is amazing.

Worth a watch if you’re into that kind of thing, or just very open minded. The film’s thesis is essentially that a ruling banking elite control the federal reserve and ultimately control the president, who serves as a puppet or figurehead. Obama is owned by bankers (as has been every president in recent years). Lots could be said or written about this, but I’ll just present the link, and let you do with it what you will.

The Ohio State Athletic Commission wants to know whether or not Sean Salmon threw a fight in their state.

After Salmon’s incendiary post on MMAJunkie yesterday, has has been the recipient of great interest from fans and media alike. Now, at least one regulatory body has some questions.

Bernie Profato, executive director of the OSAC has called a hearing to hear an explanation from the fighter.

Sherdog.com’s Jake Rossen sat down with Salmon to discuss what exactly he meant in the post, and whether or not he took a dive.

I wrote it the wrong way. He got the arm. I knew it was a position I could defend. If I fought and struggled the way you’re supposed to, I could’ve gotten out. But I didn’t have that fight in me. On that night, at the time, I did not have the motivation to fight that any more. I wanted to be anywhere else in the world but that cage, that night.

Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva disclosed to Tatame that should he win his fight with “Big” Jim York at Sengoku 10 on September 23rd, he will face Josh Barnett for the Japanese promotion’s heavyweight title in November.

Sengoku’s president confirmed that if I win, I’ll face Josh Barnett for the title in November.

While no official announcement has been made, Silva’s statements confirm rumors circulated since Barnett’s departure from active competition in the United States. After a 3rd failed drug screening prompted the cancellation of his marquee bout with consensus number one ranked heavyweight, Fedor Emelianenko, it seems unlikely that Barnett will return to action in the United States.
